A leading international law firm is seeking a mid-level Corporate Associate with 3-6 years of experience (JD classes 2020-2023) to join its highly regarded corporate practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated transactions for public and private company clients across a variety of industries.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, capital markets offerings, and related securities matters. Attorneys in this role will work directly with clients, lead key transaction workstreams, and collaborate with partners and junior associates on complex domestic and cross-border matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions
- Support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in M&A and investment matters
- Assist with public and private securities offerings and related securities law compliance
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents and ancillary agreements
- Manage transaction timelines, due diligence processes, and client communications
- Supervise and mentor junior associates while coordinating with specialists across practice areas
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for sophisticated corporate clients
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of corporate transactional experience at a reputable law firm
- Significant experience in private equity M&A, traditional M&A, capital markets, and/or securities matters
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and deal management skills
- Experience handling direct client interaction and managing multiple transactions simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent academic credentials and strong analytical abilities
- At least two years of relevant large law firm experience required
